A Little Rock man was arrested Saturday after he purportedly shot his mother’s boyfriend, police say.
About 11:55 a.m. Saturday police responded to reports of a shooting at 1405 S. Elm St.
When they arrived, 50-year-old Ron West told officers he was shot by his girlfriend’s son, 27-year-old Brandon Aaron, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
West was sitting in his vehicle when Aaron arrived at the home, shot him and drove off, the report states.
An 11-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl were getting into the back seat of West’s vehicle when the shooting occurred, police said.
Rhonda Aaron, as well as other witnesses, told police she witnessed her son shoot West.
West was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Baptist Health Medical Center.
