Work at the Interstate 40/Interstate 430 interchange in North Little Rock will require weekend lane closures, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews pouring cement on the ramp leading from I-430 north to I-40 west will require closing the ramp's inside lane north of the Maumelle exit to I-40 west beginning at 9 p.m. Friday and continuing to 7 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.
The lane closing is needed for the crews to place a temporary precast barrier wall and then pour the concrete pavement, the department said. Once the concrete work is complete, the barrier wall will be moved back to its original position and the northbound lane will reopen.
