SILOAM SPRINGS -- The Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 11 at John Brown University's Berry Performing Arts Center.
Maestro Steven Byess has titled this program "Northern Lights" as a tribute to the music of Norwegian composers Edvard Grieg and Johan Halvorsen.
Italian pianist Roberto Plano will be a featured musician. He will perform Edvard Grieg's popular "Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16" with the APO.
The community is invited to join Byess for the conductor's chat at 6:30 p.m. prior to the performance as he talks about the musicians and the music they love to perform.
