The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left one woman injured.
About 5:40 p.m., the police received a shooting call in the 101000 block of Republic Lane in southwest Little Rock, Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email.
A female victim was located in the street near the scene and was transported to a local hospital and treated for her injuries, he said.
The extent of the victim's injuries is unknown at this time.
