Nuptial vows were exchanged by Whitney Brooke Grounds and Daniel Kevin Parfitt at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Central Park, Alys Beach, Fla. Kevin Tillman officiated.

Jo and Dr. Michael Grounds of North Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mary and the late Dan Grounds of Ashdown and the late Louise Jacoway and the late Haynes Howell Jacoway, both of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Janet and Simon Parfitt of Dunwoody, Ga. He is the grandson of Muriel and the late Donald Shorter of Maidenhead, Berkshire, England, and the late Joan and Leonard Parfitt of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England.

The ceremony took place in front of a large garden trellis with ivory fabric draped to each side. Aisle markers were bundles of olive leaves and seeded eucalyptus.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory fit-and-flair gown of Chantilly lace and tulle. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, garden roses, gardenias and ranunculus with olive leaves and seeded eucalyptus.

Lindsey Binz of Little Rock was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Joanna White and Jessica Thompson, both of North Little Rock; Rachel Oberste and Lauren Strother, both also of Little Rock; and Kendall Jones of Charleston. They wore ivory chiffon gowns with halter-style bodices ruched at the waist. Their bouquets were mostly foliage with roses, gardenias and ranunculus.

Flower girls were Stella Herford and Charlotte Herford of Jacksonville, Fla., nieces of the groom, and Addison Binz of Little Rock, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Preston Binz, also of Little Rock, nephew of the bride.

Best man was Danial Alexander of Chandler, Ariz. Groomsmen were Chase Grounds of Richmond, Va., brother of the bride, and John Hunt of Arlington, Va. Guests were seated by Bryan Bowdish of Orlando, Fla.; Josh Brown of Mission Hills, Kan.; and Zach Watkins of Austin, Texas.

A tented reception at the park followed the ceremony. Family-style banquet tables with ivory linen tablecloths were centered with votive candles, olive leaves, seeded eucalyptus, geranium and white garden roses. Music was by All in One.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in marketing management from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She is a buyer at Dillard's.

The groom graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in accounting and from the University of Texas at Austin with a master's degree in business administration. He is an investment banker at Stephens Inc.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos.
