A Lake Village man died after he lost control of his motorcycle Monday evening, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Marcus D. Adams, 20, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle east on Connerly Road in Lake Village shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, when he lost control of his motorcycle, skidded and then slid into the path of a westbound Ford Contour, state police wrote in a preliminary accident report. Adams was taken to Chicot County Medical Center, where he died, state police said.
The driver of the Ford wasn’t injured, authorities said.
The weather was clear and road dry at the time of the wreck, authorities said.
Adams’ death marked the 163rd on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary state police figures.
