Motorcycle riders killed in 3 wrecks

A Lake Village motorcyclist was killed in a Monday evening wreck, Arkansas State Police said.

Marcus Adams, 20, of Lake Village was driving a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle east on Connerly Road in Lake Village when he lost control of the motorcycle and went into a skid, state police reported. Adams' motorcycle slid into the path of a 2000 Ford Contour traveling west on Connerly Road.

The wreck occurred at 6:59 p.m. Monday, state police said.

On Tuesday, state police reported a minor died from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred Friday in Arkadelphia.

A new law requires state police to redact the names and addresses of minors from accident reports that are made public.

State police said the minor was driving a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle north on Ninth Street in Arkadelphia. The motorcycle went off the roadway and struck a building, and the minor was thrown from the motorcycle into a window on the front of the building.

The accident occurred at 11:11 a.m. Friday, according to state police. The minor was taken to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, where he later died. The report doesn't specify when the minor died.

State police also reported Tuesday that a Russellville man died April 29 from injuries suffered in a head-on collision earlier that day.

Matthew Enos, 32, of Russellville was driving a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Lake Front Drive in Russellville when his motorcycle crossed the centerline and struck a 2010 Volkswagen traveling west, state police said.

The wreck occurred at 1:26 p.m., according to state police.

Enos and the driver of the Volkswagen, Lakisha Collier, 29, of Dover were taken to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, where Enos later died, state police said.

State police reported conditions were clear and the roads were dry at the time of all three wrecks.
