The Quapaw Quarter Association will hold its 51st Spring Tour Saturday-Sunday in the historic downtown district. The event kicks off with the Candlelight Tour (5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday) and Dinner (7:45) at Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott St., Little Rock, with a Brunch and Garden Tour, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday at Curran Hall, 615 E. Capitol Ave. The 1-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon tour includes the church, the hall, the Haile Cottage at 417 W. 13th St.; the Firehouse Hostel and Museum, 1201 Commerce St.; and the Herron-Horton office/studio/residence, 1219 S. Spring St. Tour tickets are $20; $50 for the brunch; $125 for the Candlelight Tour and Dinner; $155 for the Candlelight Tour and Sunday Brunch (all combos include the Sunday afternoon tour). Actress Ashley Brown, fresh from a run in the title role of Mary Poppins on Broadway, joins the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and Associate Conductor Geoffrey Robson for the season's final Acxiom Pops Live! concert, "Ashley Brown's Broadway," including tunes from Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Connor Performing Arts Center, Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Road, Little Rock. • Members of the Arkansas Symphony will go "Back to the '80s," part of the "A.C.T. in Concert" series, 7 p.m. today at the Argenta Community Theater, 405 Main St., North Little Rock. The program of music from 1680, 1780, 1880 and 1980 will include an arrangement of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" for woodwind quintet, the Canon in D major by Johann Pachelbel, variations on a Mozart theme by Ludwig van Beethoven and music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, J.S. Bach and Antonin Dvorak. Doors open at 6; patrons can mingle before the concert and meet conductor Philip Mann, and there will be a cash bar. 3 BLACKSMITHING

Busy blacksmiths and rowdy card games will bring the buildings at the Historic Arkansas Museum to life for the 42nd annual Territorial Fair, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce will showcase the region's comestibles for Taste of the Rock, 5:30-7:30 p.m. today in the River Market Pavilions, behind the Ottenheimer Market Hall, 400 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. Nearly three dozen restaurants, caterers and other purveyors will be on hand. Choctaw Casino Hotel is partnering with the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau to sponsor, with support from Arvest Bank. Tickets are $15. Call (501) 374-2001.

Crawfish, shrimp and all the trimmings will be gobbled up at the annual Preservation Crustaceans Crawfish Boil, 6-8 p.m. today at Argenta Plaza, 520 Main St., North Little Rock. The Thea Foundation, 401 Main St., North Little Rock, celebrates the opening of "River, Buildings, Streets, Bridge" with a reception, 6:30-9 p.m. Friday. The exhibit by painter John Kushmaul is the seventh installment of The Art Department young professionals series. Bonnie Montgomery and her band will provide music for the reception, which will also offer heavy hors d'oeuvres, an open beer and wine bar and a chance to win an original Kushmaul painting. Winners and contestants in the 2014 IBLA Grand Prize Music and Voice Competition will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at North Little Rock's Argenta Community Theater. The competition is held each summer in Ragusa, Sicily, a Little Rock sister city. Performers are sopranos Francesca Adamo and Elsa Roux Chamoux; pianists Miwa Hoyano, Cho Hyun Park, Anna Rutkowka-Schock and Audrey Yamamoto; classical guitar duo Alessandro Blanco and Giuseppe Sinacori; jazz pianist Giuseppe Blanco; cellist Luca Giovannin; tenors Lorenzo Licitra and Emmanuele Soataro; musical saw player Annette Scholten (with pianist Nanke Flach); and violinist Andrea Timpanaro. 9 BLENDING

A score of fine and performing arts students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will showcase their work in the semi-annual Co-opt, 5-9 p.m. today at South on Main, 1304 Main St., Little Rock. It's a collaboration among the university's art and theatre arts and dance departments and Oxford American magazine. Artwork will be on display in the Oxford American 's Annex Gallery through Saturday. The performance side will include portions of four plays written, directed and performed by students. The Fairfield Bay community indulges in springtime revelry with Bloomin' in the Bay on Saturday at Ed Leamon Park. Van Buren County Master Gardeners and local artisans present a day of plant sales, music, gardening tips and food.
