1 FALAFEL

Load up on baklava and other Mediterranean delights at the annual International Greek Food Festival, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Napa Valley Drive. The festival will offer its usual Old World Market, church tours, children's activities, music and dancing as well as a full menu of treats including gyros, calamari and soutzoukakia. 2 FILM

The Little Rock Film Festival is already underway and continues through Sunday with a full lineup of panels, parties and, of course, film screenings at the Central Arkansas Library System's Ron Robinson Theater, 100 River Market Ave., and other venues. Still to come are the Junction Bridge Party at 9 p.m. Friday and screenings of films including White God and Turbo Kid. Tickets are $10 per screening, $60-$300 for festival passes. 3 FUSION

Modern and progressive jazz acts, including Jonathan Butler and Rodney Block & the Real Music Lovers, will liven things up by the Arkansas River during Jazzlights in the Park, a benefit for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas. The festival is 1-9 p.m. Saturday on the Clinton Presidential Center lawn. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the show, free for children 10 and under. 4 FAIRY TALE/FOLKTALE

Audiences can take a fanciful trip into the woods as the Arkansas Festival Ballet presents Hansel & Gretel, 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre, 601 E. Ninth St. Original choreography is by Rebecca M. Stalcup and the music has been chosen from a range of composers including Franz Joseph Haydn and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. • A four-member cast will perform The Bremen Town Musicians, a children's operetta featuring music by Jacque Offenbach, Gioacchino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi, among others, with a libretto by John Davis based on the Brothers Grimm folktale, at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Cabe Festival Theatre, Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, Little Rock. Crawfish won't just be dinner, they'll be the entertainment at the annual Hat Club Crawfish Salute, 5-9 p.m. Friday in the River Market pavilions. In addition to all-you-can-eat crawfish, music and a silent auction, the event will feature the Crawtucky Derby with crawfish races. Members of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will play Baroque by Candlelight at 7 p.m. today at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 310 W. 17th St., Little Rock, the finale for this season's Intimate Neighborhood Concerts series, sponsored by the Stella Boyle Smith Foundation. Gabriel Vega will be the soloist in Antonio Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto in C major; the program will also include the "Entrance of the Queen of Sheba" from Solomon and the second suite from The Water Music by George Frideric Handel and the Suite No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068, by Johann Sebastian Bach. 7 FRANKIE

The Weekend Theater shares the story of Frankie Addams, a World War II-era tomboy struggling to find her place in the world, as it presents The Member of the Wedding. Composer-electric violinist Mark Wood, an original member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, will help transform the Arkansas Youth Orchestra into a full-fledged rock orchestra via his Electrify Your Strings! program. Wood and his wife, singer Laura Kaye, working with the Arkansas Youth Choir, will perform arrangements of music by Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and more at 7 p.m. Sunday at Connor Performing Arts Center, Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Road, Little Rock.
