MEMPHIS — A suspect in a Memphis homicide has turned himself in to authorities.
Multiple news outlets report 25-year-old Martin Wray was booked into the Shelby County jail Saturday morning. Authorities charged Wray with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 22-year-old Thomas Watkins on May 12.
Officials say Watkins was shot just before noon last Tuesday in the Corning Village apartments.
Wray's bail was set at $1 million. It is unclear whether he has a lawyer.
