Suspect identified in April gas station, restaurant robberies

Police have identified a suspect in the robberies of a Little Rock fast food restaurant and a gas station.

Authorities are searching for Kendall Stanley, 28, in connection with the robberies of the Sonic at 2917 Cantrell Road and the Shell gas station at 16900 Cantrell Road in April, Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said.

Stanley is a 5-foot-9 black man who weighs about 140 pounds.

On April 11, police say a man ordered water from Sonic and showed a pistol to the employee who delivered the drink, demanded money, according to a police report, and fled with about $570.

On April 13, officers responded to the Shell gas station at 16900 Cantrell Road where an employee told police that a man tried to buy a candy bar and demanded money when the cash register opened. The man took off with about $200 as the employee chased him with a baseball bat. The employee told police he smashed the rear window of the vehicle before a driver fled with the man.

Police have arrested Anthony Perry, 29, in connection with the Shell robbery.

Stanley faces aggravated robbery and theft of property charges. Police say he is armed and dangerous.
