I-30 lane to close overnight next week near Bass Pro

A lane closure is set for next week on Interstate 30 in Little Rock to remove a barrier wall, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials announced Friday.

Crews will remove a barrier wall on I-30 westbound near the old exit 128 in front of the Bass Pro Shop, state Highway and Transportation Department spokesman Danny Straessle said in a news release.

Traffic will be reduced to two lanes starting Wednesday night at 8 p.m. and the closure will end at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, Straessle said. If weather affects the crew's ability to remove the barrier wall, Straessle said the work will be performed Thursday overnight.

The lane closure will be controlled with barrels and warning signs, the release states.
