LR police identify suspect in 2 heists
Little Rock police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the aggravated robberies of a Sonic and a gas station in April.
Kendall Lamar Stanley, 28, address unknown, is wanted in the April 11 aggravated robbery of the Sonic at 2917 Cantrell Road and the April 13 aggravated robbery of the Shell at 16900 Cantrell Road, according to an email from police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen.
Stanley is described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous, Allen said.
During the Sonic robbery, Stanley is accused of showing an employee a pistol and demanding money, according to a police report. He fled with about $570, the report states.
Stanley and another man are accused of robbing the Shell of $200, according to a police report.
Anthony Deron Perry, 28, of Little Rock was arrested April 22 and charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the Shell robbery, police said.
Flea market alarm leads to 4 arrests
Jacksonville police arrested four men early Thursday morning and charged them with breaking into a flea market and pawnshop.
Police responded to 1930 W. Main St. for a business alarm and heard a loud banging noise coming from inside the building, according to an arrest report. While checking the exterior, an officer saw four men run from a rear door of the building. The men refused to stop when commanded by the officer.
After a short foot chase, the four men were arrested, police reported.
Patrick Johns, 16, of 1401 Plummer St., Apartment A, in Jacksonville was arrested at the business at 1:22 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report. Police found a watch in Johns' jacket pocket. He was charged as an adult with commercial burglary, fleeing, criminal mischief and theft of property.
Demario Butler, 22, whose listed address is 130 Jaxon St. in Jacksonville, was arrested at 3023 Hines Drive at 1:35 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report. Five packages of tropical-flavored Starburst were found in the pocket of his shorts. He was charged with commercial burglary, criminal mischief and theft of property.
Trenton Austin, 18, of 1713 Valentine Road in Jacksonville, and Demetrius Jones, 18, of 300 Marshall Road, Apartment 7, in Jacksonville were both arrested at 1:35 a.m. Thursday at 300 Marshall Road, according to arrest reports.
Austin and Jones were both charged with commercial burglary, criminal mischief and fleeing.
All four were being held in the Pulaski County jail Thursday evening; Johns and Butler in lieu of $9,000 bonds, and Austin and Jones in lieu of $8,000 bonds.
