Improvements to U.S. 165 in Chicot County will require closing a section of the highway on June 2, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department announced Friday.
The section of the highway between Arkansas 65 and 35 east of Dermott will be closed for driving surface improvements, Arkansas Department of Highway and Transportation spokesman Danny Straessle said in a news release.
A detour around the work zone will be available using Arkansas 35 and 65, the release states.
The closure will start at 8 a.m. June 2 and continue throughout the month, Straessle said.
