Streets, bridges and parking lots are scheduled to close this weekend for Riverfest, Little Rock’s annual Memorial Day weekend festival.
Among the closures are the Main Street Bridge, which runs over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock, and a section of President Clinton Avenue/Markham Street. Center, Louisiana and Main streets will be closed throughout the weekend as determined by the Little Rock Police Department and the Riverfest security team.
Starting Friday morning, Scott, Cumberland, Rock, Ferry and Sherman streets will be closed between President Clinton Avenue/Markham Street and Second Street, as will River Market Avenue. The Main Street Bridge will also be blocked off, and Riverfront Park will be closed by festivities.
