LITTLE ROCK — Two golfers from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock are being honored by the Sun Belt Conference for their achievements this year.
Stina Resen was named Tuesday as the league's women's golfer of the year and Sabrina Bonanno was named freshman of the year.
Resen was twice named the conference's golfer of the month. She also was on the All-Sun Belt team and was the individual medalist at the league tournament. She also won two events during the season.
Bonanno was also named as an All-Sun Belt member. She had four top-10 finishes this year and won the Delta Gamma Challenge in February.
