Ozark Regional Transit extends two Springdale bus-route service times, tweaks route

SPRINGDALE -- Ozark Regional Transit has changed a Springdale fixed bus route and extended the hours on two other routes.

Changes started Tuesday.

Route 64 no longer stops at the Walmart on Thompson Street, but three other bus routes in Springdale will serve that location, according to a news releas. Riders may transfer to a different bus at the Jones Center and go to Northwest Technical Institute and Northwest Arkansas Community College-Washington County. Route 64 also now serves the new Walmart on Elm Springs Road, according to the release.

Routes 62 and 63 have expanded hours from 5:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., according to the release. Route 63 serves the city of Johnson and companies including Tyson Foods, Harp's Foods on Butterfield Coach Road and Walmart, according to the release.

Ozark Regional Transit has four fixed routes in Fayetteville, four in Springdale, two in Rogers and one in Bentonville. Service also includes two express route bus services -- one between Fayetteville and Bentonville and another between West Fork and Lincoln. For more information, visit ozark.org.
