A Wednesday ruling agreeing with a lower court that a 2013 Arkansas ban on abortions after 12 weeks of pregnancy was unconstitutional was issued as a "per curiam" order by a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, based in St. Louis. An article in Thursday's editions incorrectly said the opinion was authored by one of the three judges rather than the panel as a whole.
