LR woman jailed in beau's stabbing

A 50-year-old Little Rock woman was jailed Friday night in the stabbing of her live-in boyfriend, according to a Little Rock police report.

Lisa Fitzpatrick was charged with first-degree battery, a Class B felony, after police said she was involved in a fight with Walter Jones, 58.

During the fight, police said, Jones was stabbed in the neck.

Jones was taken to UAMS Medical Center, where he was in critical condition Friday night, the report said. Jones was able to speak but would not cooperate with police.

According to police, Fitzpatrick bragged to witnesses that she stabbed him.

She was arrested at her 1135 W. 18th St. home at 10:45 p.m. Friday.

Fitzpatrick remained in the Pulaski County jail Saturday night in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Assault charge filed in gun-waving case

A Little Rock man accused of pointing a gun at another man was arrested on a warrant Saturday afternoon, according to a Little Rock police report.

Timothy Charles Looney Jr., 23, was charged with aggravated assault, a Class D felony, in the incident that took place earlier this year.

Police said Looney was looking for the victim's brother when he went to a residence and was told he wasn't there. A "physical altercation" ensued, and Looney "displayed a gun."

The other man, who was not specifically identified in the report, ran.

No shots were fired, according to the report.

Looney remained in Pulaski County jail Saturday night in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
