Uncharacteristically cool weather made for a pleasant evening of wine and craft beer tasting at the annual Riverfest pre-party Flowing on the River on May 21 at the River Market pavilions.
As guests entered, they received a souvenir Riverfest wine glass for sampling. Music by Freeverse Duo kept folks entertained as they tasted foreign and domestic wine and craft beers provided by Arkansas Craft Distributors and Natural State Distribution. An array of tasty morsels was provided by local restaurants including Samantha's Tap Room, Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant, Dugan's Pub, The Garden Bistro and Cantina Laredo.
The event was sponsored by Tenenbaum Recycling Group, with proceeds to be used to present Argenta Community Theater's Summer Camp program "ACTing Up" in July in North Little Rock.
Serving as chairman of the pre-party was Jennifer McConser.
