A body found this week in Pine Bluff has been positively identified as that of a 23-year-old missing woman.
The Pine Bluff Police Department had earlier said the body was believed to be that of Maranda Goldman, who was reported missing Oct. 8. The agency said in a statement Thursday that the Arkansas state Crime Laboratory has confirmed it is Goldman.
The body was found near the intersection of 38th and Ohio streets and was said to be ""extensively decomposed."
The cause of death is not yet known, police said.
