A second requested mental examination hasn't been completed for Christopher Lee Paschall, according to prosecutors. Circuit Judge Mark Lindsay reset the case for Feb. 29, 2016.

Paschall pleaded innocent Feb. 7 in Circuit Court to charges of possession of a firearm by certain prohibited persons, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by receiving and violating terms of a previous bond.

The charges are related to his arrest in Springdale after police say he fled Missouri.

Paschall, 37, is facing murder charges in Missouri where police say he killed his former girlfriend and her grandfather. Missouri officials are waiting to extradite Paschall until after his Arkansas charges are resolved.

Paschall is being held at the Washington County jail, but Missouri officials have a hold on him, meaning he would be returned to Missouri if he posts his $100,000 bail in Arkansas.

Law enforcement officials in Barry County, Mo., said Paschall shot and killed Casey Brace and her grandfather, Herbert Townsend, and kidnapped Paschall and Brace's 2-year-old daughter Jan. 5 near Washburn, Mo., about 20 miles northeast of Bentonville.

Springdale police arrested Paschall the next day at the home of a relative.

Paschall faces up to 326 years in prison on his Arkansas charges.
