BENTONVILLE -- Madison Brittain will change her colors, but she will remain a Tiger for a few more years.

Bentonville's senior guard signed her national letter of intent Thursday to play basketball at Ouachita Baptist. A number of schools were interested, but the 6-foot Brittain chose Ouachita over Harding and Lubbock Christian.

"I didn't think I would make it up to this point," Brittain said. "It's so humbling to have so many people here supporting me, and it's awesome to take it to the next level and keep playing basketball for another four years.

"Ouachita really grabbed my attention because of the community of people there. Everybody was so loving and welcoming, and once I walked on campus I knew it was genuine."

Brittain was the Lady Tigers' third-leading scorer last season, averaging 9 points and 4 rebounds per game. She had a season-high of 23 points in the season opener against Conway. She said Ouachita's plans are to keep her as a shooting guard that she would spend the next weeks improving her outside shooting.
