Where I live: Kingwood neighborhood in Little Rock with my wife, Haley, and our 8-month-old baby.
Occupation: Lawyer at the Sanford Law Firm and general counsel for the Democratic Party of Arkansas.
My favorite space is: Our den.
Why? The windows, especially at sunset! Looking back and east, you can see our woodsy backyard (which is a mess of old oak and shaded bramble) and our patio. It reminds me of fun nights with friends under our old wooded trellis. I like the outdoors feel, but looking west is what makes the space for me.
At sunset, everything fades much slower over our sloped front yard, with the sky peeking above the valley of pine. In addition to the views, I like that our baby has plenty of space to play on the floor.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would:
Add some surround sound to play “Not Fade Away” — Haley’s and my favorite song.
