COMMENTS HSU players will walk approximately 600 yards across Arkansas 7 for the shortest road trip in college football for the 89th Battle of the Ravine. … HSU clinched the GAC championship last week. Since the conference was created, the football title has never left Arkadelphia. HSU won in 2012, 2013 and this season, while OBU won in 2011 and 2014. … The teams have the top two winning percentages of Arkansas teams since 2010: HSU at .800 (52-13) and OBU at .705 (43-18). … Eight HSU students were arrested Wednesday after several cases of vandalism were reported on the OBU campus. Seven were charged with eight counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief each, and the other was charged with one count of criminal mischief. Four of those arrested — Kade Clayton, Hunter Devine, Javeon Manos and Camron White — were previously listed on the Reddies’ football roster on the athletic department’s website. None of them was listed on the site Friday evening. … OBU has won 10 consecutive home conference games.
