A 74-year-old Harrison woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Boone County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Mary R. Tabor was attempting to make a left turn at Naples Road onto U.S. 65 North about 12:19 p.m. Sunday when she failed to yield to a northbound vehicle, a 2015 Jeep, state police said. The Jeep struck Tabor's vehicle, a 2001 Pontiac, on its left side.
A minor was also injured in the crash, according to the report. The minor's exact condition was not released as of Monday afternoon.
Details regarding the driver of the Jeep were not included in information provided by state police.
Travel conditions at the time of the crash were described as rainy and wet.
The death was the 454th in a crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
