Warden says hunter really felon with gun

An Arkansas Game and Fish warden arrested a man Sunday morning after seeing him walking down the street wearing hunter orange and toting a rifle and squirrels.

According to the report, Alan Byrd, 39, of 604 Holly St. in Wrightsville did not have a hunting license and was wanted on three felony warrants out of Pulaski County when he was arrested on Clark Street in Wrightsville about 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Byrd was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and hunting without a license.
