Paragould man killed after his motorcycle strikes deer

A 46-year-old Paragould man died late Friday after his motorcycle struck a deer on a road in Greene County, Arkansas State Police said.

Gregory J. Condray was traveling north on South Rockingchair Road about 11:50 p.m. Friday on a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle when he struck the deer, according to a preliminary report.

He was pronounced dead a short time later by emergency medical staff at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, state police said.

Travel conditions at the time of the crash were described as clear and dry.

The death was the 456th in a crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
