Bentonville guard Malik Monk, a major target of Arkansas, is expected to sign with Kentucky.
Today is the last day of the early signing period that started Nov. 11.
Monk, 6-4, 190 is one of the more highly regarded prospects to ever come out of the state.
ESPN rates Monk the nation's No. 1 shooting guard and No. 5 overall prospect in the nation. He officially visited Arkansas, Kentucky, Oregon and Kansas.
