An El Dorado motorcyclist was killed and a woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 82B Monday night in Union County, Arkansas State Police reported.
Charles Burnette, 46, was driving a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle west on U.S. 82B at 8:19 p.m. when he hit an eastbound 2008 Chevrolet that turned left onto Rock Island Right of Way, the report said.
Burnette was killed. The driver of the Chevrolet, Cornecia Sheppard, 24, of El Dorado was injured and taken to the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
At the time of the crash, it was cloudy and the pavement was wet.
