Trotting: Take to the streets for a walk, stroll or jog before loading up on sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. Go! Running's annual Go!bbler Turkey Trot starts at 8 a.m. Nov. 26 at Go! Running, 1819 N. Grant St., Little Rock. The run has options of 3, 4 or 6.5 miles and includes a chance to meet Santa and win costume prizes. Swimming: Things are getting exciting and musical under the sea as Arkansas Repertory Theatre presents Disney's The Little Mermaid, Dec. 4-Jan. 3. Preview performances are at 7 p.m. Dec. 2-3 with pre-show director talks at 6:15 p.m. Regular show times are 7 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
