Massachusetts (3-0) made 16 three-pointers en route to a victory over Central Arkansas (0-2) on Thursday night at the Mullins Center in Amherst, Mass.
The Minutemen made 16 of 29 from three-point range and held the Bears to 32.3 percent shooting (21 of 65) from the floor. UCA shot just 2 of 14 from three-point range.
Jabarie Hinds led UMass with 24 points, including six three-pointers. Donte Clark scored 19 points, while Trey Davis had 17 points and Zach Coleman added 10.
UCA was led by Jeff Lowery and Jordan Howard, who each had 11 points. Justin Foreman added 10 points for the Bears.
