A Little Rock woman was arrested and charged with theft of property Tuesday after police say she was caught on film stealing money from the purse of a motel maid.
Tiffany Trice, 25, was arrested at the Motel 6 in I-30 near Scott Hamilton Drive.
According to an arrest report, the maid, Cirenia Perez, had her purse under a push cart as she cleaned rooms. As she prepared to leave work, she noticed money missing from her purse and along with a motel manager viewed security tapes that showed Trice take the money, the report said.
The report did not say if Trice was a guest at the motel.
When police confronted Trice with the footage, the report says, she admitted taking the $21 Perez reported missing.
Trice gave the money back to Perez, according to police, and was taken to Pulaski County jail.
