Two men died after a single-vehicle crash reported Friday night in Bella Vista.
Josiah David May, 20, of Springdale and Christopher James Ruiz, 24, of Gravette were traveling west on Trafalgar Road in a 2005 Chevrolet, according to a preliminary police report from the Arkansas State Police. The vehicle was speeding, according to the report. May, the driver, lost control of the vehicle near Reed Lane and the vehicle hit several trees. The accident was reported at 9:29 p.m.
One man was taken to the Mercy Bella Vista and another taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville after the crash, according to the report.
It was the 412th fatal accident in Arkansas so far this year, bringing the number of traffic deaths to 463.
