Henry a finalist for Mackey Award

FAYETTEVILLE —Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry has been named one of the three finalists for the John Mackey Award.

The award is named for NFL Hall of Famer John Mackey and is given annually to the player selected as the top tight end in college football.

Henry is joined by Austin Hooper of Stanford and Jordan Leggett of Clemson as finalists for the award.

Hunter is a junior who has caught 44 passes this season for 619 yards and three touchdowns.

The winner of the award will be announced on Dec. 9.
