Little Rock police were investigating after three men beat and robbed a man outside his home Friday.
Officers were called at 5:40 p.m. to 3006 W. 12th Street. Maximino Contreras, 51, said he’d been walking outside his home when three men ran up behind him, according to a police incident report. The men struck him in the head with an object and kicked him repeatedly when he fell. They took Contreras’ wallet and fled on foot.
Police said Contreras was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The robbers were each described as black and between the ages of 18 and 20. More detailed descriptions were unavailable.
