Man thinks attack was over a woman

A man was attacked and robbed over a woman Saturday in Little Rock, according to police.

Floyd Greene, 44, said he was walking in the area of Mara Lynn Road and North Bowman Road when he noticed a crimson Chevrolet Caprice following him about 10 a.m., a police report states. The driver of the Caprice soon parked and walked toward Greene “with a scowl on his face.”

The man pushed Greene down, took his cellphone and told Greene to “stop messing with his girlfriend,” according to the report. He purportedly tried to strike Greene with his vehicle before fleeing.

Police said Greene declined medical treatment at the scene.

He told investigators he’d never seen the man before and is not dating anyone, the report states.

Greene’s attacker is described as black, between the ages of 20 and 25. He wore a white shirt, red shoes and khaki pants.
