Conway police Wednesday afternoon identified a man sought after Wal-Mart employees were assaulted in an attempt to steal computers from the store earlier this month.

Police said they believe Jason Warren, 41, of Conway is tied to the case.

According to authorities, a man loaded two computers into a shopping basket, walked past registers and attempted to leave the Wal-Mart store at 1155 Skyline Drive in Conway about 4:09 p.m. Nov. 14.

Two Wal-Mart employees were pushed as they attempted to talk to the man, police said, adding that one of the employees was grabbed by the neck.

Police said the man was able to leave the store in a white Nissan Sentra with an Arkansas license plate of 425DHA. The vehicle's tags have been expired since 2007, according to authorities.

The man tied to the crime is seen in surveillance footage wearing a red short-sleeve shirt over a white T-shirt and blue pants.

Anyone with information regarding Warren's whereabouts is asked to call the Conway Police Department at (501) 450-6120 or text an anonymous tip to CRIMES using the keyword "Conway" in the body text.
