ILLINOIS BAYOU WILDLIFE OBSERVATION TRAIL
Location: Illinois Bayou Park, 6630 U.S. 64 W. — in London, just across Lake Dardanelle from Russellville.

Length: If you tack on the four spurs down to the lake and explore a bit of the nearby bike trail, you can squeeze in two miles out and back on this easy trail.
Main attractions: It’s paved, fairly flat and the lake is beautiful. Bring the kids, the camera and the binoculars. Walk it twice.
Hazards: None.
Dog, bike, tyke friendly? Great for all three.
