Alex Carrington learned this week that he would be making his first start of the season for the Buffalo Bills in place of injured starter Mario Williams.
Now, Carrington himself will likely be missing time.
The former Arkansas State player was carted off the field in Kansas City in the third quarter Sunday with a right knee injury. Carrington did not return to the game, and it was reported that he left the stadium on crutches.
Carrington, who is in his sixth NFL season, has made eight tackles in six games this season.
