An 18-year-old accused of fatally shooting a man in North Little Rock pleaded innocent Thursday to first-degree murder.

Danny Dednam entered his not guilty plea in North Little Rock district court before District Judge Jim Hamilton set his bond at $250,000.

Dednam is charged in the death of 22-year-old Keon Woodson. Authorities on Tuesday found Woodson slumped over inside a vehicle at Summertree Apartments at 5600 Summertree Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prosecutors told Hamilton that “there is video surveillance in addition to five cooperative witnesses” that place Dednam at the scene and show the shooting, which purportedly took place at an Exxon gas station at 3800 Camp Robinson Road, about 1.2 miles south of the apartment complex where Woodson was found.

Dednam was arrested Wednesday afternoon at 1807 Elm St. in Little Rock after he fled from North Little Rock to Little Rock by vehicle and then on foot.
