Today marks just the second day of October, but promoters of Halloween attractions are wasting no time opening their haunted house, tours and mazes.

Many attractions are open today, although some won't open till later in the month. Attractions range from not-so-scary for the children to I'll-never-sleep-again terror for anyone brave enough.
