PRESCOTT 62, EPISCOPAL COLLEGIATE 36

Prescott crashed Episcopal Collegiate's homecoming party Friday night in Little Rock.

The Curley Wolves piled up 631 yards and rolled over the Wildcats 62-36 in a 5-3A Conference game.

Senior quarterback Trevor Pipkin completed 24 of 30 passes for 309 yards and threw three of his four touchdown passes in the first half for Prescott, the defending 5-3A Conference champion.

"We executed," Curley Wolves Coach Tommy Poole said. "We didn't ourselves behind the sticks a lot. We put the gas pedal down and never checked off."

Prescott (3-2, 2-0 5-3A) scored on five of its seven first-half possessions to take a 36-22 halftime lead. Its largest lead was 56-30 with 10:14 left.

"We came out ready to play," Pipkin said. "We had good preparation by our coaches. They prepared us well for the game."

Also for the Curley Wolves, senior wide receiver Brandon Walker caught 8 passes for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns. Junior running back Carlos Vanhook rushed for 145 yards and 1 touchdown on 16 carries.

The Wildcats (3-1, 1-1) were led by senior running back Kelvin Robinson, who finished with 201 yards and 1 touchdown on 25 carries. Allie Freeman, a senior wide receiver, caught 11 passes for 116 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Jacob Howard finished 22-of-31 passing for 220 yards with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

Episcopal Collegiate pulled within 20-14 with 8:03 left in the second quarter when Freeman caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Howard between two Prescott defenders at the goal line.

But the Curley Wolves came right back.

Pipkin found Walker down the left sideline for a 62-yard touchdown and the ensuing two-point conversion was good to make it 28-14 with 7:18 left in the first half.

Robinson scored on a 26-yard run to cut the lead to 28-22 with 3:49 left in the second quarter. Prescott responded again with Pipkin's 55-yard completion to sophomore Kadarius Pearson to set up senior Maleric Butler's 1-yard touchdown run with 2:39 left in the half to give the Curley Wolves a 36-22 lead.

To start the second half, Prescott recovered its own onside kick and Pipkin's 4-yard touchdown pass to junior Tyler Rucker extended the lead to 42-22. Prescott stretched its lead to 56-30 early in the fourth quarter on four-yard runs by Butler and senior James Tidwell.

Episcopal Collegiate Coach Richie Marsh credited Prescott's playmakers and knew what kind of game his Wildcats were in for.

"We really felt like we were going to have to outscore them," Marsh said. "We couldn't get it done. We couldn't make plays."
