Dr. Angela Marie Simmen and Dr. Brian Patrick Kelley were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Little Nell Wedding Deck atop Mount Aspen in Aspen, Colo. Drew Taylor officiated.

Drs. Rosalia and Frank Simmen, 1405 Loyola Drive, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Florence and the late Albert Simmen of Town of Tonawanda, N.Y., and the late Luisita and Jorge Mercado of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Penny Kelley Baumann of Roswell, N.M., and the late Dr. Patrick D. Kelley. He is the grandson of the late Kathleen and A.L. Kelley of Roswell and the late Whynama and William Robert Tucker of Portales, N.M.

The site was decorated with autumn-colored arrangements of dahlias, roses, ranunculus, spray roses, viburnum berries, rose hips and astilbe. Music was by Daniel Lombardo and Megan Lombardo.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless trumpet-style gown of ivory lace with Italian silk bands at the sweetheart neckline, waist and hem. She carried an autumn bouquet.

Jennifer Simmen Lewin of Decatur, Ga., was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a cabernet-colored silk-chiffon dress and carried a bouquet similar to the bride's.

Best man was Scott Kelley of Dallas, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Kevin Kelley of Oklahoma City, also brother of the groom. Ring bearers were Asher and Emmett Lewin of Decatur, nephews of the bride.

A reception, also at Little Nell, followed the ceremony. Tables were decorated with whimsical floral centerpieces and votive candles.

The bride graduated cum laude from Harvard University in Boston with a bachelor's degree in history and science, and received a medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. She is chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan Health System at Ann Arbor.

The groom graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and is a senior resident physician in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan.

The couple will live in Ann Arbor after a honeymoon in Mexico.
