A Desha County man is dead after a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, Arkansas State Police reported.
Dane Miles, 19, of Dermott was a passenger in a northbound 2009 Chevrolet that ran off the road, overturned and struck a tree. The accident happened about 1:15 a.m. on Arkansas 1 north of the intersection with Arkansas 4, according to a preliminary state police report.
Miles was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle, Bradley Wilson of Tillar, was injured and taken to McGehee-Desha County Hospital. His condition was unknown Sunday.
At the time of the accident, the weather was clear and the roads were dry.
