One killed, 3 hurt in 2-vehicle crash

A Datto man was killed and three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Clay County on Sunday, Arkansas State Police said.

Donald Borsch, 59, of Datto was driving a 1996 Chevrolet S-10 south in the northbound lane of Arkansas 211 south of Clay Road at 10 a.m. Sunday, state police reported. A 2011 Lincoln MKX traveling north swerved to avoid a head-on collision with the Chevrolet, but the two vehicles struck each other.

Gregory Mock, 43, and Laurie Mock, 44, both of Corning, were injured in the crash, state police reported. Gregory Mock was the driver of the Lincoln, and Laurie Mock was his passenger.

State police said a minor was also injured in the collision, but the report doesn't specify whether the minor was a passenger in either vehicle.

The injured were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Missouri and to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, state police said. Their conditions were unknown Monday.

Conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the wreck.
