Losing lottery tickets turn $100,000 winners for 2 in state

Two Arkansas residents are winners of $100,000 in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's Play it Again second-chance drawing, lottery officials said Tuesday.

Pine Bluff resident Lashaundra Combs, who played in the Sizzlin 7's instant game, bought her winning ticket at HR Food Mart, 601 N. Hutchinson St. in White Hall.

Combs told lottery officials that she will use the money to pay off bills and add money to her savings account.

Hoxie resident Judy Kern bought her winning Fully Loaded instant game ticket at Tobacco Superstore, 809 NW Texas St. in Hoxie.

Kern said she will also use her winnings to pay off bills and add to savings.

Combs and Kern were two of three $100,000 winners the lottery named Tuesday. A Van Buren man won in the lottery's Spy Some Cash game.
