A burglar offered a woman drugs to dissuade her from calling police Sunday in Little Rock, according to a police incident report.
Ramona Willard said she returned to her room at the Economy Inn at 9709 Interstate 30 about 10:50 a.m. and found her husband asleep and a man going through their belongings, the report states. After Willard yelled at the man, she said, he tried to “hand her pipes for smoking narcotics and other items” to keep her from calling police.
Willard, 50, did call police. The burglar pushed her down and ran away before officers arrived, according to the report. He fled with about $100 worth of electronics.
