Wesley Newsom, 20, was driving a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle east on U.S. 64 at 4:39 a.m., and a 2006 Pontiac G6 was headed west on U.S. 64. The report said the Pontiac was making a left turn off U.S. 64 onto Arkansas 7T and turned into the path of the motorcycle.

Newsom was taken to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville and died of his injuries. The driver of the Pontiac, who was not listed in the report, was not injured in the crash.

A Cabot man was killed and a Cabot woman was injured Friday night in Little Rock in Pulaski County after being hit by vehicle on the interstate, state police reported.

Michael Lunsford, 52, and Vickie Grauer, 50, were trying to get back into their vehicle that was broken down on the left shoulder of Interstate 30, west of 65th Street, at 7:52 p.m. when they were hit by a westbound 2001 Saturn, the report said.
