A Dardanelle man was killed Sunday night after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash in Logan County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Danny R. Wheeler, 23, was traveling east on Arkansas 22 at Stapleton Lane about 8:27 p.m. Sunday on his 2012 Suzuki motorcycle when he struck a northbound 2001 GMC that was attempting to turn left at Arkansas 22 and Stapleton Lane, state police said.
Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene after the impact.
The condition and identity of the other driver was not included in the initial report.
Travel conditions were described as clear and dry in the report.
The death was the 393rd in a traffic crash so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
